Hi, Folks!
On Tuesday 28th July almost 40 hard-working volunteers, expertly guided by Trevor Hayes and Rob Paterson, loaded 1049 packages into a 40 ft container which is now on its way to Malawi.
This was a really superb performance and they deserve a really big Thank You, along with all those people who have given goods and/or money and/or their time to pack cartons, transport them to Alloway Church Halls, label and record all the boxes, serve tea/coffee and eats and all the other activities required to make the operation a success. It was an excellent example of teamwork so, again, a really huge Thank You.
After the container was fully loaded there were approximately 120 packages left. These are now in temporary storage at Dundonald and will shortly be sent to the Raven Trust in Strachur to await transportation to Malawi in one of their containers.
