The Church will be open for the summer period from Monday to Friday, 10.00 am until 4.00 pm each day. Volunteers are required to man the church and welcome visitors. If you can help, please put your name in the blue book on the vestibule table.
There will be only one service each Sunday in the Church at 10.30 am until and including 17th August. There will be a holiday club for Sunday School children and a Creche at that time.
The National Trust for Scotland, in conjunction with Alloway and Doonfoot Community Council, invite all interested members of the public to a ‘Walk-in Exhibition’ in Alloway Village Hall tomorrow, Monday 21st July, from 4-7 pm. A model of the new Burns Birthplace Museum will be on show and members will be on hand to answer any questions.
The Annual Church Golf Competition, open to Ladies and Gents, will be held on the morning of Monday 25th August 2008, over Seafield Golf Course, followed by lunch, costing £10 at the Alloway Inn at 1 pm. As places are limited, would those interested please add their names to the list located on the Vestibule table.
It is proposed to hold a Bowls Competition at Seafield Bowling Club on Thursday 28th August at 2.00 pm. Anyone interested should add their name to the list on the vestibule table. Closing date 31st July.
Scottish Bible Society requires volunteers (old and new) are required for its annual door to door collection from 4th - 8th August. If you can assist, please contact Isabel Smith, Tel: 443640.

During the summer period, the Church Office will be open between the hours of 10.00 am and 12 noon each Thursday for intimations.
Church Yearbook - The Church Yearbook will be distributed at the same time as the September Newsletter. Please, therefore, ensure that Sheila Murray is informed of any personnel changes which have taken place in the last year in the various committees and organisations of the church.
