Dear Friends
May I give you a warm welcome to the website of Alloway Parish Church.
Alloway is best remembered as the birthplace of Robert Burns. However, there is evidence of a Christian community having been here since the 16th Century - perhaps even earlier!
Opposite our Church lies the 'Auld Kirk', made famous by the poem 'Tam o' Shanter. Our forefathers in the faith built a 'new Church' in 1857.
We have been particularly blessed with a sanctuary, which is encompassed by stained glass windows. The Church, however, is not the building; it is the people.
Our website hopefully will give you a flavour of the varied life and witness of this sizeable lively local congregation.
Our prayer - that you too will find blessing and joy in His service.
Yours in Him
Rev Neil McNaught
