Robert Burns

The window cleverly incorporates many aspects of Burns's life set against a local scene of the River Doon flowing under the famous Brig o' Doon. A popular window for visitors. The detail inspires thought of many of Burns's famous poetry. The inscription is from Burns's 'A grace before dinner':-
O, Thou, who kindly dost provide
     For every creature's want!
We bless thee, God of nature wide.
     For all thy goodness lent.
