Thanks to everyone who supported the South Ayrshire School’s Jazz Band concert on Friday in the church. A great night was had by all who came along.
I am looking forward to the Youth Parade today and to the football challenge this afternoon.
Our Touch the World Team have a collection of jewellery envelopes available. Please speak to any of the three girls if you have any old, broken or mis-matched items that they can put in their collection. Anything from gold to plastic beads would be most welcome. The items are then sent to a recycling company who make a donation towards their fundraising.
YOUTH CLUB. Our next meeting will be Sunday 7th March 7 – 9 pm. Entry is £1 and the tuck shop will be available. Join us if you are in P7 – S2 – All welcome. On Sunday 14th we will be travelling as usual to D Talks. Please be in the car park for 6.20pm.
The SUPA Club for P7’s at Alloway Primary School will continue each week 12.30 – 1.00pm. Remember to get in for an early lunch slot, looking forward to seeing you all.
The Cosycoffeehouse will meet again on Sunday 28th March 7.00 – 9.00pm. Join us for fairtraded drinks which cost 50p and a tuck shop. This will be a Wii challenge evening. If yur up for a spot of competition – come along.
There is to be a football challenge between the Co. section BB and the Scouts on Sunday 7th March 2.00 – 3.00pm at Cambusdoon Sports Club. Light refreshments and prizegiving will take place in the halls afterwards. All welcome.
Please support the Alloway team in their fundraising efforts for their Mission trips this summer to Bulgaria and working in their home town. PLANT SALE with the generous support of Carol George. Sunday 28th March between the services in the church halls.
Tickets will go on sale on Sunday 21st March for a concert to be held in the church on Saturday 24th April at 7.00pm. The concert has been put together by Jess Griffiths, and is entitled “With a Little help from my friends”. Jess has asked some of her musically talented friends along with her praise band to put together a concert of praise and musical items. Rev David T Young has promised an appearance! Tickets are £3. There will be a retiring offering on the night – all of these proceeds will be for Jess’ Mission trips. Cara Moynihan and Megan Andrews will be providing refreshments in the church halls afterwards. Any donations for these refreshments will go towards their Mission fund.
Well done to everyone who took part in the Ayrshire Association of Burns Clubs Finals on Saturday. We wish you every success at the National Finals in May.
