Church Summer Opening 2019
Alloway Parish Church is now open to visitors from 11.00am to 4.00pm Monday to Friday. Everyone is welcome to come into our beautiful Sanctuary to look around, to reflect in peace, to view our truly striking stain-glass windows and to sign our visitors book.
Alloway Parish Church Golf Competition - Monday 12th August
The competition is open to Gentlemen and Ladies. It is a Stableford Competition for the Cormie/Bolling Trophy played over the Belleisle Seafield Course. Tee of times will be from 7.58am to 9.01am followed by lunch in the Chestnuts Hotel at 12noon. Cost: £20 for golf, lunch, prizes. Enter on the sheet in the Church vestibule.
Farm Walk & Praise - Wednesday 24th July
This will take place at Laigh Tarbeg, Ochiltree. Come and see dairy farming at its best. Learn how modern technology is used. We will sing songs of worship accompanied by a local Ceilidh Band. Burgers, hot dogs and ice cream available. Please Bring a Seat.
Alloway Parish Church Book Club - Tuesday 20th August
This next meeting will take place at 7.30pm in the Fellowship Lounge. The book for discussion will be “ The Misremembered Man”, a tragi-comedy by Christina McKenna. It is a very emotional and thought provoking portrait of life in rural Ireland which charms with its authentic characters and gentle humour. Open to all.
Church Trip To Sligo, Ireland - 2nd to 5th September 2019
The next church trip will take place between Monday 2nd September and Thursday 5th September 2019. We plan to visit Sligo in Ireland, Donegal and Enniskillen. Bookings and deposits are now being taken.
