Kiltwalk Kindness

Get ready for the Kiltwalk Kindness event on the 30th April, where our dedicated team members will walk the distance for two deserving charities close to our hearts. Four of our fantastic folks are gearing up to stroll 14 miles from Clydebank up to Loch Lomond, all in support of Christian Aid and Lynda Mary will be undertaking the “Wee Wander” in support of the Night Before Christmas Campaign.

Christian Aid is a charity that has garnered the love and support of many in our congregation. Your ongoing support for their work around the world is essential. As the Alloway Strollers walk for Christian Aid, we encourage you to support Madge Irving, Tracey and David Turner, or Neil in their "big stroll." Though the Tom Hunter Foundation will not be providing additional funds this year, your donations to Christian Aid's partnership with the World Food Programme will be multiplied by 20! Your generosity will help feed countless hungry mouths. To support the Alloway Strollers, please visit their JustGiving page:

This year, Lynda Mary, who has been part of our team for the past few years, will take on a different challenge for health reasons. She will walk the shorter 3-mile route, called "The Wee Wander," in support of the Night Before Christmas Campaign. Our church already supports this charity during the Christmas season by acting as a collection point for donations of new toys, pyjamas, and toiletries for families struggling with the cost of living.

Please consider supporting Lynda in her fundraising efforts for the Night Before Christmas Campaign. Any donations would be greatly appreciated. You can make a contribution through her JustGiving page:

Thank you for your continued support and generosity in helping these fantastic causes.

Many thanks,

Neil and Lynda
