Alloway Robert Burns Poets Path Ae Fond Kiss

Allowing us to draw ourselves together, we move on to another plinth which is easily decipherable. 'Ae Fond Kiss' for Nancy McLehose - Burns's love, Clarinda.

"Ae fond kiss, and then we sever;

Ae fareweel, and then forever."

Again, around the plinth we see the words:

"Who shall be our poet now?"
